Black Panther was the king of Wakanda and member of the Avengers. During their downtime he married Storm and had a son named Azari that he named after his grandfather. He was eventually killed by Ultron. His son was raised by Iron Man along with James Rogers, Torunn, and Henry Pym, Jr.. HIs remains were kept in the Trophy Room in the Citadel in Ultra City. In his honor, Tony Stark built the robot Iron Black Panther that could transform into a large panther. When Azari fought Iron Black Panther he claimed that he was the true Black Panther, implying he had taken on his father's name.

Black Panther was unvoiced.

The fact that Black Panther married the X-Man Storm is strongly implied though her name is not directly stated nor is her face shown. However, during the opening story there is a lightning bolt shown and their son has lightning based powers. Though why he does not have her other weather-based powers is unknown. She is also his wife in the comics.

In the comics, Black Panther's real name is T'Challa but this is unstated.
