The series follows the renegade crew of the Serenity who make a living in the pioneer frontier of a new solar system while on the run from the overpowering Alliance government. The series was a critical hit and beloved by fans, but suffered from low ratings caused by a number of issues. The series was cancelled before it finished its first season. It then became a major hit with its DVD sales where it was shown in its correct production order.     Today is the release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. The video game is the eighth one to feature a crossover between Marvel Comics and Capcom characters. The game follows characters from both franchises as their universes are merged and they must fight against the combined forces of Ultron and Mega Man's Sigma.     45 Years of M*A*S*H

    Yesterday marked the forty-fifth anniversary of the premiere of M*A*S*H. The series was based on the 1970 feature film, even having some actors return to reprise their role, which itself was based on the book MASH: A Novel About Three Army Doctors about surgeons during the Korean War. The series also similarly follows a group of surgeons in the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital unit during the Korean War. The series was notable at the time for being one of the first to combine sitcom style comedy with the realistic tragedies of war, essentially being the first dramedy. The series was used as an allegory for the controversial Vietnam War, going on at the time the series started.

    Yesterday marked the fifteenth anniversary of the North American release of Kingdom Hearts. The game was a result between developer Square and The Walt Disney Company, combining the characters of the Final Fantasy franchise and those from numerous Disney animated features. Many of the actors from Disney's features and series reprised their characters on the game. The game follows the adventures of Sora as she teams up with Disney characters to stop the forces of darkness. The game was a massive success, was followed by nine sequels, and is still considered one of the greatest of all time.

    Donald Glover won twice. It is the continuation of Batman: The Animated Series featuring animation that was closer to the other concurring airing series Superman. The series continued the adventures of Batman and his colleagues, both new and old ones changed, as they battle to save Gotham City while expanding on the animated universe with more figures.
