Spinning off from the character's appearance on Daredevil, the series follows Frank Castle as he uncovers a large conspiracy surrounding the murder of his family. Clancy Brown returns as Frank's former commander Major Ray Schoonover. The series is being produced by Jeph Loeb and Joe Quesada while John Romita, Sr. and Gerry Conway are credited for creating the character.

    The late great Len Wein is being recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Writers' Guild of America for his contributions to television animation. Wein's Twitter account announced that the Writers Caucus voted to honor him with the award for his major contributions to the medium.

    He is best remembered as the creator of Wolverine and Swamp Thing as well as the co-creator of Nightcrawler, Storm, and Colossus. Lively Len served as a writer for not only X-Men, Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers: United They Stand, and The Super Hero Squad Show but also The Transformers, Batman: The Animated Series, ReBoot, Beast Wars: Transformers, Godzilla: The Series, RoboCop: Alpha Commando, and Ben 10: Alien Force.

    In the United States of America, today is Veterans Day. It is used to honor all military veterans, those who previously served in the United States Military. The day is observed on the closest weekday but is officially set every year on November 11th. The day was picked for the end of World War I when Germany signed the armistice surrendering to the United States of America, United Kingdom, and France in 1918. Other nations celebrate Armistice Day and Remembrance Day celebrating the same event. The United States previously celebrated Armistice Day until the nation renamed the event to Veterans Day in 1954.

    Today marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the 1992 Presidential election. On this day, Arkansas governor Bill Clinton and Tennessee Senator Al Gore were elected into the office of President and Vice-President of the United States of America marking an eight-year administration. The election of the Democrats was a surprising upset at the time as they defeated incumbent George H. W. Bush. This was due to prominent third-party candidate Ross Perot, who took a large percentage of Bush's votes.

    As with most presidents, Clinton made his way into popular culture. He was portrayed by Jim Cummings on Fantastic Four and Iron Man. Gore was played by Ed Gilbert on Iron Man.
