Carnage is from the Marvel Animation Universe series Ultimate Spider-Man.

Carnage is the persona created by a combination of the Carnage Symbiote and its various hosts. It is genetically based on the Venom Symbiote and was altered by the DNA of Spider-Man.

Biography[]

Green Goblin created the symbiote from the Venom symbiote and injected it into his son's friend Peter Parker. However, Parker's mutated blood altered the symbiote creating an entirely new version. Green Goblin sent Carnage to fight S.H.I.E.L.D. but they stopped him and separated the two.

Doctor Octopus and Michael Morbius created another symbiote under order from HYDRA. This symbiote's first host was Octavius. He was defeated thanks to the efforts of Spider-Man and Agent Venom with a sound device.

The symbiote separated and began acting on its own and began fighting the two heroes. It exploded and began infecting numerous citizens of New York City including Hulk and Shriek. Spider-Man, Venom, Captain America, and S.H.I.E.L.D. fought off the symbiote-controlled civilians. Harry Osobrn became Anti-Venom and sacrificed his powers to free the civilians. The fragments came together into one giant creature. Spider-Man and Venom fought it and found that it was controlled by Carnage Queen, the symbiote-possessed Mary Jane Watson who was under influence by Morbius and Crossbones. They planned to send Carnage drones to every city on the planet to further HYDRA plans. Spider-Man, Venom, and Patrioteer reveal their identities to Carnage Queen so Mary Jane could break free from the symbiote. However, the symbiote was still within.

Background[]

As the series lacks the presence of Cletus Kasady, this version of Carnage is based on the Ultimate version.
