- Curt Connors is from the Non MAU series The Spectacular Spider-Man.
Dr. Curtis Connors is a brilliant geneticist. He accidentally transformed himself into the Lizard when he created a formula to re-grow his missing arm.
Biography
At some point, Curt lost his arm while working as a surgeon in the United States Army. He got a prosthetic arm to replace it, but always wished he had his real arm back.
He married a woman named Martha and they had a son named Billy.
He took in Eddie Brock, Gwen Stacy, and Peter Parker as interns in his lab.
He used lizard DNA to regrow his arm. But he transformed into a large lizard creature. He was saved by Spider-Man, his family, and interns. However, Peter took a picture of Spider-Man fighting Lizard and sold it to The Daily Bugle. Not able to trust him, Martha let him go.
Technician Max Dillon was working on the electric eel tank when an accident occurred turning him into Electro.
When John Jameson came back to Earth with the symbiote, Connors got to study it. Spider-Man apparently stole it, but then it turned against him as Venom.
Eventually, Dr. Miles Warren took over the lab when Norman Osborn began funding them. He learned that Warren was conducting experiments on human test subjects. He threatened to turn in Warren, but was blackmailed with information on Lizard.
Eventually, Curt and Martha decided to move to Florida.
Background
Connors and Lizard were voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. He reprised the role in Ultimate Spider-Man.
