Donald Harvey Francks (born February 28, 1932; died April 3, 2016) was a Canadian actor who played Sabretooth, Puck, and Shaman on X-Men and Kalek on Silver Surfer.

He was the father of actress Cree Summer.

BiographyEdit

He reprised the role of Sabretooth in X-Men vs. Street Fighter, X-Men: Mutant Academy, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and X-Men: Mutant Academy 2.

He was in the The Star Wars Holiday Special with Mark Hamill as the first person to portray fan favorite Boba Fett.

Other notable works include R.C.M.P., Mr. Scrooge, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Jericho, Mission: Impossible, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Heavy Metal, Inspector Gadget, Star Wars: Ewoks, Star Wars: Droids, The Care Bears Family, Garbage Pail Kids, A.L.F., Police Academy: The Series, The Legend of Zelda, Swamp Thing, Monster Force, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, The Neverending Story, Goosebumps, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, La Femme Nikita, Street Time, Hemlock Grove, and Gangland Undercover.

Francks died April 3rd, 2016 following a battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife Lili and his children Cree, Rainbow, Trane, and Tyler. [1]
