Sleeping Beauty is a fairytale. It involves a beautiful princess falling under a sleeping spell that could only be broken by a prince.
While Carol Danvers was in the Midtown Hospital as a "Jane Doe", the doctors and nurses called her Sleeping Beauty because of her attractiveness and the fact that she would not wake from a coma. Carol was eventually awakened by the mutant Rogue whose touch restored her mind and memories.
The story remained popular for a long time. In the year 2055 during a dystopian future, Bishop called Wolverine Sleeping Beauty after he knocked the elderly man out.
