Copycat is a mutant.
Biography[]
When Magneto built Asteroid M, Copycat went to the mutant haven. However, the asteroid was destroyed and she was forced to evacuate along with everyone else.
She then went to Skull Mesa looking for another mutant haven, but it was controlled by Solarr.
Alternate Version[]
In an alternate universe, Copycat was a member of Magneto's X-Men and fought against the Avengers.

The design for her was finalized on June 14th, 1994. She was credited as "African Mutant Refugee".
In the Comics[]
Her mutant ability is to shapeshift. Unlike other shapeshifters, like Mystique and Morph, she can actually imitate powers as well.
She became a prostitute.
She met and fell in love with Wade Wilson. However, he broke up with her after learning he had cancer, eventually leading to him becoming Deadpool.
She became a mercenary. She was hired by Tolliver to pose as Domino to spy on Cable. She came to care for them and when Tolliver ordered her to bomb their headquarters she refused. Tolliver had Deadpool confront the team and Cable discovered the deception. Deadpool defeated her but she escaped.
She went into hiding but Deadpool and Domino found her. Copycat helped Domino find her team. She was injured by saved by copying Deadpool's Healing Factor.
She tried to live a peaceful life with Garrison Kane but once again found by Deadpool. She would have been killed but was saved by Wolverine. Afterwards, she made peace with Domino.
