Victor Creed, also know by the codename Sabretooth, is a mutant and a member of the Acolytes.
Biography[]
A mysterious enemy from Wolverine’s past Sabretooth would battle Wolverine at any given opportunity. Logan hated Sabertooth due to their history in Weapon X. Sabretooth was apparently an ally of the man who created Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton.
Sabretooth was often an ally of Magneto, and was one of the members of the Acolytes when Magneto grew tired of Mystique and the Brotherhood of Mutants’s constant failures against the X-Men. He attacked the both the X-Men and the Brotherhood when the two groups briefly merged. However, Sabertooth was forced to make a retreat upon the sighting of Sentinels.
He was forced to team up with the X-Men to fight Apocalypse and his Horseman.
Powers and Abilities[]
Sabretooth's primary mutant power was an accelerated healing process that enabled him to regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his anatomy with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human.
Sabretooth is able to withstand incredibly cold temperatures without sustaining bodily damage for great periods of time, even to the point of being nude in sub-zero temperatures.
In addition, Sabretooth's healing factor provided him with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process. Despite being of an unknown advanced age, Sabretooth retains the appearance and vitality of a man in his physical prime..
Sabretooth's feral mutation provided him superhumanly acute senses. Sabretooth could see with greater clarity and greater distances than an ordinary human. Sabretooth's hearing was similarly enhanced, able to detect sounds that ordinary humans can't and at greater distances. Sabretooth also possessed an extremely well developed sense of smell. Sabretooth could recognize or track targets by scent, much the same way as a dog or wolf does.
Personality[]
A sadistic and bitter man, Sabretooth realizes the fact that he knows more about Logan's past than even Logan himself does. Despite his animalistic nature and unpredictable rage, Victor Creed is a very crafty opponent, easily Wolverine's equal.
