Stark Industries is a major company owned and operated by Tony Stark. He uses it to provide armor for his adventures as Iron Man. While Tony is off saving the planet, the company is run by his assistant Pepper Potts.
HYDRA stole SI technology and used it in their HYDRA Dreadnought. JARVIS found out about it and told Tony. Tony got upset and ripped it out of the robots.
Stark Industries designed a Gamma Energy Emitter. It was stolen by the Wrecking Crew by order of Loki. However, Thor destroyed it with Mjolnir.
