The song reunited Malone and Lee from the song Spoil My Night.
The music video features footage from the film, some of which was previously unreleased to the public. During the music video, the line "Ride me like a cruise" censored the "me" due to sexual connotations. This censorship is later lampshaded in the movie, where Miles listened to the song before he was interrupted by his parent.
Malone first announced the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
