Harlan Jay Ellison (born May 27, 1934) is a writer who wrote the Silver Surfer episode "Antibody".


Other notable television and film works include the famous Star Trek episode "The City on the Edge of Forever", Route 66, The Flying Nun, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The Flying Nun, The Starlost, Logan's Run the series, The Twilight Zone, The Hunger, Babylon 5, The Outer Limits, and Masters of Science Fiction.

As a writer he is known for works including A Boy and His Dog, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, and "Repent, Harlequin!" Said the Ticktockman.
