Iona Marie Morris (born May 23, 1957) is an actress who played Storm on the first season of X-Men, Medusa on Fantastic Four, and Storm and Martha Robertson on Spider-Man.
She is the sister of fellow actor Phil Morris.
Biography[]
She was replaced by Alison Sealy-Smith in order to save costs. Because she is an American actress she would have gotten residuals when the series is reran, while Canadian voice actors do not. Sealy-Smith rerecorded all of the first season to avoid paying Morris residuals for every rerun. While she did not voice Storm's first appearance on Spider-Man, as Sealy-Smith joined the rest of the cast in the crossover, she did get to reprise the role in the season five Secret War event as she was already in Los Angeles as well as being a good friend to story editor John Semper, Jr..
