John Alan Lasseter (born January 12, 1957) is the executive producer of Big Hero 6. He is currently the chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios.


Lasseter was an animator working for The Walt Disney Company before he started a computer animation company that would be named Pixar. Following Disney's purchase of Pixar, Lasseter became head of Disney's animation. He stepped down following sexual harassment allegations.[1]

As director, his works include Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Cars, and Cars 2.
