Jonathan Scott Frakes (born August 19, 1952) is an actor who currently plays J'Son on Guardians of the Galaxy and previously played High Evolutionary on The Super Hero Squad Show. He is more well known for the role of Commander William Riker in the Star Trek franchise.

He is married to The Incredible Hulk actress Genie Francis.


He directed several Star Trek episodes of The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager as well as the two films First Contact and Insurrection.
