May Parker is the aunt of Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man, and widow to Ben Parker. She introduced Peter to Mary Jane Watson. She suffered a heart attack while at a Broadway show with Anna Watson during the Sinister Six attack and was treated by Doctor Bromwell. She made Thanksgiving dinner for Peter, her doctor, and Gwen and George Stacy. She sold a cookbook and received an advance from the publisher. She developed a relationship with her doctor. She thought Ned Leeds was joking when he suggested that Peter was Spider-Man. She gave Peter relationship advice when he was deciding between Gwen Stacy and Liz Allan.
