Spider-Man is a 1995 Video Game tie in to the Spider-Man TV show. It was developed for Sege Genesis and Super Nintendo.

The gameplay is similar to most styles of the decade, with skyrolling platform and action. The game features six consecutive levels: a Laboratory, a Construction Site, the Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island, a Penthouse and Ravencroft Asylum.

Featured VillainsEdit

There are over twenty villains in the game. Villains that had already appeared in Spider-Man were Lizard, Doctor Octopus, Rhino, Scorpion, Mysterio, Alistair Smythe, Shocker, Venom, Black Widow, Tarantula, Scorpion, and Chameleon.

Villains that were in the video game but would not be introduced in Spider-Man until after the games release include the Norman Osborn version of Green Goblin, Owl, Hydro-Man, Hammerhead, and Vulture.

The game also featured villains that never appeared in Spider-Man such as Bulldozer, Wrecker, Tinkerer, Alien Spider Slayer, Jack O'Lantern, and Beetle.

Featured HeroesEdit

Spider-Man is the main hero of the game and is able to summon the Fantastic Four for help.


The game is often referred to as "Spider-Man: The Animated Series".
