Spider-Woman is Julia Carpenter, an important worker for Stark Industries. She was constantly competing for Tony Stark’s affections. Julia ends up winning as the two get married, kind of. She really marries a LMD of Stark to fool the Mandarin. However, in season two, it is said that Tony left her at the alter, so there must have been another wedding.

When Forceworks relocated, Spider-Woman and War Machine were the only two members to stay with Tony, and Julia began acting as a figurehead in Stark Industries.

Having previously been engaged to Tony before he left her at the alter, Julia struggled with her feelings towards Tony, still loving him but knowing that no one will ever get near his heart.

When Julia was sent back through time by one of The Mandarin’s rings, Tony began to question his own feelings for her, and risked life and limb against The Hulk in order to save her. When The Mandarin reappeared and Forceworks reunited to save Tony from his enemy, she and Tony finally reconciled.
