Super Hero Squad is from the Non MAU series The Super Hero Squad Show.

The Super Hero Squad is a group of superheroes who protect Super Hero City from the evil Lethal Legion. Members are known as Squaddies.

HistoryEdit

Iron Man fought Doctor Doom for the Infinity Sword, a powerful weapon of limitless power that could bend reality. However, their battle destroyed it into Infinity Fractals that scattered across Super Hero City. Each fractal contained a different dangerous power. Doom formed the Lethal Legion comprised of supervillains from Villainville so Iron Man formed the Super Hero Squad.

Iron Man first recruited Falcon, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Thor, and Wolverine. Their boss was Captain America while they answered to S.H.I.E.L.D. liaison Ms. Marvel. Wolverine's apprentice Reptil also helped them.

Eventually the sword was reforged. At that time, Galactus came to Earth to devour it. The Squad then learned that the sword can only be used by someone wearing the Infinity Gauntlet. Silver Surfer rejoined Galactus as his herald and left the planet and team with the sword.

To replace Silver Surfer, the team recruited Scarlet Witch.

Soon, a being known as Thanos began searching for the six Infinity Stones so the Squad tried to stop him. However, Silver Surfer, now Dark Surfer, took the Infinity Gauntlet with the stones.

Dark Surfer uses the stones to send the Squad across time and dimensions. He then takes over the universe. Eventually the Squad gets back together and defeat Dark Surfer. They destroyed the stones and the sword.

BackgroundEdit

The team is a child-friendly version of the Avengers, similar to the Super Friends.

Spider-Man was not part of the series because the television rights were held by Sony Pictures Television, since given back to Marvel. That is why he only appears in the game.
