Universal Pictures, also known as Universal Studios, is a film studio and distributor who produced Howard the Duck.

History[]

The studio is the oldest surviving studio in the United States and the fifth oldest in the world.

The studio currently holds the rights to any Hulk and Namor solo films, having released Hulk and Marvel Studios's The Incredible Hulk.

Their facility in Southern California also contains a theme park offering tours of the backlot.

Other notable films include the classic monster movies like Dracula and Frankenstein, Sherlock Holmes, Abbott and Costello, Woody the Woodpecker, Psycho, King Kong, Jaws, The Thing, Halloween, Conan the Barbarian, Back to the Future, The Land Before Time, Child's Play, Tremors, Beethoven, Jurassic Park, Babe, Casper, the Hannibal Lecter films, The Fast and the Furious, the Bourne series, VeggieTales, Kung Fu Panda, Hellboy, How To Train Your Dragon, The Purge, Fifty Shades of Grey, Insidious, Pacific Rim, and the James Bond films.
