Today is the tenth anniversary of X-23's first appearance in the comics. First appearing on August 2, 2003 in the X-Men: Evolution episode "X23", she was created by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost. Renamed Laura Kinney, X-23 first appeared in comic book form in NYX #3 by Joe Quesada and Josh Middleton joining the ranks of Firestar in characters so popular from a series that they appeared in the books. Wolverine's clone has continued to be a large presence in the X-Men Universe ever since.
