Disney Animation Gets Own President

Walt Disney Animation Studios has gotten its own president. The Hollywood Reporter notes that Andrew Millstein, formely an executive vice president and general manager, will fill the newly created position. Millstein worked on several films including Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, and Big Hero 6. Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios president Ed Catmull said of him, "Andrew's leadership has been a major factor in the renaissance of Walt Disney Animation, and we're excited to see what wonderful films and technological advancements continue to emerge from that group under his leadership."
