Jessica Jones Series Released

Today is the release of Jessica Jones. This is the second Marvel series to be released on Netflix Instant following Daredevil earlier this year and is the second of the four series that will lead up to a Defenders crossover series. The series followed the character, created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, as she runs a private investigation business following a brief superhero career while battling the evil Zebediah Killgrave, better known as Purple Man. The series features the talents of Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, a gender swap of the character Jeryn Hogarth, an attorney that helps Jessica out. It also features an appearance by Stan Lee in one of his famous cameos.
