Biography[]
The history of the Vault is unknown.
Norman Osborn was hired to upgrade the security and he managed to get Spider-Man to be an inmate in order to test it. J. Jonah Jameson came to watch, hoping to see the wallcrawler fail.
Black Cat infiltrated the prison at the same time hoping to free her father, Walter Hardy.
Green Goblin appeared and freed the prisoners including Montana, Ox, Fancy Dan, Mysterio, Silvermane, Molten Man, and Rhino. The supervillains all attacked Spider-Man as he escaped.
Black Cat helped Spider-Man when he noticed that Walter was the man who killed Ben Parker. Walter, feeling guilty for his crime, offered to keep the supervillains trapped while the two heroes escaped.
Afterwards, Black Cat turned on Spider-Man for what she perceived as his morality forcing her father to remain trapped.
Background[]
In all other versions, the Vault is in the Colorado Rockies. While Ryker's Island is depicted in the series, this version of the Vault likely takes the place of the Raft.
