[edit] Sales
Volume One sold nearly 97,000 copies in its first week, placing it in the top twenty for home video sales. Volume Two, which had been released concurrently sold nearly 91,000 copies. Following the release of Volume Three and Volume Four this is still the best selling of the X-Men Volume DVD releases. [1][2]
The DVD sold better than The Spectacular Spider-Man Volume Four, released the previous week, which did not make the top thirty.
